    How do I check availability?

    Simply fill out the booking form on the “Book Your Stay” page with your preferred dates. We’ll check availability for you and reply quickly to confirm.

    Is my booking confirmed immediately?

    No — bookings are confirmed once you receive a personal reply from us and we’ve received your 25% deposit.

    When should I pay?

    A deposit of 25% is required to confirm your booking. The balance may be paid at time of booking or afterwards when convenient to you, but must be paid at least 30 days before your stay begins.

    If you book within 30 days of the start of your holiday, the full cost is due on booking.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    If you need to cancel your booking, here’s how refunds work:

    60 days or more before your stay – You’ll receive a full refund.

    Between 60 and 30 days before your stay – Your 25% deposit will be non-refundable, but the remaining 75%, if already paid, will be refunded to you.

    Within 30 days of your stay – Unfortunately, no refund can be given.

    We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to protect you in case of emergencies that prevent you from travelling.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept payment by bank transfer. Details will be provided when your booking dates are confirmed as available. Payment of your 25% deposit should then be made within 3 days to make your booking firm.

    Can I change my booking dates after confirming?

    Yes, date changes are possible at least 60 days before the start of your stay subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange it.

    How many guests can the house accommodate?

    The house is ideal for up to 5 guests, with both double and twin bedrooms available, as well as a single bedded “sleeping nook” (with slightly restricted foot room for the very tall) under the stairs. There are also travel cots for two babies available on request.

    What amenities are included?

    Fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, Wi-Fi, garden, and comfortable living and dining spaces. For details of bed sizes, kitchen or laundry equipment etc please see the appropriate page on the 360 degree photographs.

    Do you provide bed linen and towels?

    Yes — all bed linen and towels are included in your stay.

    Is there parking on-site?

    Yes, free private parking for 1 car is available directly outside for guests and there is a free semi private parking area for more cars 20m away.

    Do you have a 360° tour of the property?

     Yes — you can explore each room and the garden online via our 360° tour before booking. Thank you “h3ritag3 3d” for providing it.

    Do you have baby equipment and are you Twin Friendly?

    Yes, there are two travel cots, high chairs etc at the property as we have twin grandsons ourselves. You will need to bring your own cot bedding. There are also stair gates. Just ask for the baby equipment that you need at time of booking.

    Where exactly is La Maison des Vignes?

    We’re located in Michaugues, Commune de Beaulieu, in the heart of Burgundy, France.

    What’s nearby?

    Peaceful walking and cycling trails, lakes for swimming and watersports, historic towns, vineyards, local markets, and tourist friendly sites for many tastes when you look for them. A tourist information file is available at the property.

    Where can I buy groceries or essentials?

    Daily fresh bread is available in nearby Brinon-sur-Beuvron. Small shops and a pharmacy are within 5 minutes, and larger supermarkets are 12–25 minutes away by car.

    Are there restaurants nearby?

    Yes — there are charming local restaurants within a short drive, as well as vineyards offering tastings.

    Are pets allowed?

    Unfortunately, pets are not allowed to ensure comfort for all guests.

    Is smoking allowed in the house?

    No — the property is strictly non-smoking.

    Do you require a deposit?

    Yes, a 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

    Can I host an event at the house?

    No, La Maison Des Vignes is not suitable for hosting events, and the maximum number of people who can stay overnight is 5 plus up to 2 babies in travel cots.
